Emma Francis is an artist and painter whose work primarily explores anxieties around relationality, identity, and crises. Born and raised in Vancouver BC, they completed the Langara Fine Arts program, where they received awards in painting and drawing. Later, they received their undergraduate degree at Concordia University in Studio Arts, graduating with distinction. they have spent the past six years focusing on their painting practice and remain a Montreal-based artist. Their paintings are in private collections in the United States, England, and across Canada. Francis’ work has recently been in the exhibitions “By Land or By Sea,” curated by PGMCS and “Endless Dreams,” curated by Arts in Square. Recent publications include I Like Your Work spring 2024 catalog, “Lemonade.”
